The Tennessee
Walking Horse is known to be one of the smoothest riding gaited horse
breeds and has sometimes been called "The Horseman
Cadillac."
The Tennessee Walking Horse is a naturally gaited breed,
performing their gaits immediately after birth as it is a completely
natural way of going for them. Some horses do benefit from training
to optimize their gaits, but the movements themselves (the gaits) are
integral to the breed.
As part of this exhibition program, it is
our pleasure to acquaint you with the three signature gaits of the
Tennessee Walking Horse; The Flatwalk, The Running Walk and the Rocking
Chair Canter.
To do so, we are privileged to have with us some of
the finest gaited Tennessee Walking Horses in the United States.
